Wine is not just drunk. It is smelled, observed, tasted, sipped and... talked about!
In the province of Cuneo, at thePoderi Moretti winery, you can enjoy a tasting of 3, 4 or 5 delicious wines together with an expert guide who will tell you about their characteristics. You will also be able to enjoy a delicious board of typical Piedmontese products and take a visit to the winery and a walk in the vineyard.

What we will do
We will meet at the Poderi Moretti winery in Monteu Roero (CN), where our wine expert guide will be waiting for us.
After an initial welcome, we will begin the experience with a walk through the vineyard. As we walk, we will listen to the guide, who will tell us about the stages of vineyard work that take place throughout the year. Around us we will admire other hills in the area, all with different exposures that give each wine a unique aroma and taste.
Next, we will move on to Cascina Occhetti for a visit to the production cellar and discover all the machinery used in the wine-making and ageing processes. After 1 hour spent between the walk through the vineyard and the visit to the cellar, there will be a moment dedicated to questions where we can give vent to our curiosity!
We will then take a 10-minute walk to Cascina Moretti, where the wine tasting will take place. Depending on the option selected at the time of booking, we will taste 3, 4 or 5 wines.
- The 3 wine option includes the tasting of Roero Arneis DOCG, Langhe DOC and Roero DOCG Occhetti
- The 4 wine option includes tastings of Roero Arneis DOCG, Roero DOCG Occhetti, Roero Riserva DOCG and Barolo DOCG
- The 5 wine option includes tastings of Dolcetto d'Alba DOC (or alternatively Roero Arneis DOCG), Barbera d'Alba DOC, Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC, Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC and Barolo DOCG
Regardless of the number of glasses, the tasting will be guided, will last about 1 hour and will be accompanied by a delicious platter (included) of typical Piedmontese cold cuts and cheeses. And if one of the wines tasted makes us fall in love, we can buy it at the winery shop with a 15% discount!
The total duration of the experience is 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
A minimum age of 18 is required to participate in the tasting. Children aged 5 years and over and any accompanying teetotalers can select the "Accompanying persons" option when booking and participate by paying the reduced fee of €10 for the alternative board + water. Children up to 4 years of age participate free of charge.
The activity is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity is available every weekend from April to November and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants. In the event of bad weather, the experience will take place indoors and may not include a walk in the vineyard.
During the wine tasting, a platter with samples of typical Piedmontese cold cuts and cheeses will be served. In the event of allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, it will be possible to request an alternative by contacting the contacts in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Dogs are allowed in all rooms except the wine cellar.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport , while free parking spaces are available nearby.
