If you want your friends to think you've become a trekking ace without even lacing up your boots, the Azienda Agricola Viglianti in Careri is your new heartland.
Here, at the foot of the Aspromonte mountains, your connection with nature is guaranteed and has an unmistakable silhouette: that of Pietra Cappa, the largest monolith in Europe, which watches over the vineyards like a stone giant while you indulge in a regenerating outdoor tasting.
The experience includes the tasting of 4 glasses of wine accompanied by a platter of farm-produced cold meats and cheeses!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Azienda Agricola Viglianti in Careri (RC), in the picturesque setting of the south-eastern slopes of Aspromonte. We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to introduce us to the beating heart of this family-run business.
Our tour will begin with a walk through the vineyard, where we will be able to admire the majesty of the Pietra Cappa monolith towering over the area.
We will then move on to the winery to discover the secrets of production, from the winemaking processes to the use of barriques and tonneaux and the special nature of spontaneously fermented wines.
The highlight will be the open-air tasting, where we will sample four glasses of wine: a red, a white, a rosé and the passito Greco di Bianco, a true rarity in the area. Accompanying the glasses will be a platter of cheeses and cured meats produced on the farm.
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.

The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience free of charge.
The facility is not accessible to persons with mobility problems or in wheelchairs due to the planned route through the vineyard.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 people.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
