And just like that, you find yourself on a panoramic terrace with a glass in your hand, enjoying the view at the highest point of the Collio. At Tenuta Stella, in Dolegna del Collio, the desires of lovers of good wine become reality, in an atmosphere that glows with artisanal authenticity.
Here a walk through the vineyards and a visit to the barrique cellar awaits you, to discover how labels are born that tell the unique character of the Friulian terroir.
A 2-hour experience in which you will taste 6 glasses of wine accompanied by a platter of local cured meats and cheeses!
What we will do
The appointment is at Tenuta Stella in Dolegna del Collio (GO) , in the setting of Scriò, one of the most prestigious areas for viticulture of excellence. We will be welcomed by the guide who will introduce us to the history of the family and its special link with local craftsmanship.
If the weather is on our side, we will begin with a 15-minute walk through the estate's vineyards. We will walk flat on the top of the hill, surrounded by 15 hectares of vineyards arranged like an amphitheatre, from which we will be able to admire the whole of Friuli and, on clear days, even see the reflection of the Adriatic Sea.
We will then return to the heart of the winery to visit the barrique cellar. We will pass through the three rooms dedicated to ageing, where we will discover the secrets of organic wine-making methods and the constant commitment to the enhancement of indigenous grape varieties such as Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia.
The highlight will be the tasting of 6 glasses, which will be held in a special room or outside on the terrace. We will be able to choose the references by letting the sommelier advise us between classic method bubbles, local whites, reds or fascinating orange wine reserves.
So as not to leave our glasses alone, the wine will be accompanied by a platter of cold meats and cheeses from 0 km, bread and breadsticks. Depending on the season, we may also taste honey produced by the estate's beehives or the typical Friulian frico.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.

The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors or abstemious persons may participate free of charge and will be offered water or juice.
The facility is accessible to people with mobility problems and pushchairs, with the exception of the route through the vineyard.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
