In this period villa nestled amidst the Gavi vineyards, you can enjoy a food and wine experience that includes a guided tour through aromatic herb and Italian-style gardens, culminating with a visit to the historic wine cellar.
A journey through history and taste, crowned by a tasting of 5 wines that you can enrich with a mouth-watering platter of typical products!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Tenuta La Marchesa in Novi Ligure (AL), a wine resort between the Monferrato and Gavi areas, housed in a 16th century villa.
We will be welcomed by our guide to introduce us to a tour of the estate that will start from the panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards and mountains, while we will be told the history of the estate. The tour will continue through the outdoor gardens, the villa's chapel, the lemon house, and the ancient 17th-century cellar, a recently restored infernot , where we will discover the winemaking process entirely in steel.
It is here, among the red bricks and vaulted ceilings, that the guided tasting of 5 wines will take place, during which we will taste: a Spumante Brut Rosé and 4 indigenous Piedmontese wines (Monferrato DOC Pelvaro, Piemonte DOC Albarossa, Monferrato DOC Larino, Monferrato DOC Valino) .
If we choose the "visit + wine tasting with chopping board" option, the glasses will be accompanied by a rich chopping board consisting of focaccia, cold cuts and finger food from 0 km.
The experience will last a total of about 1. 5 hours.

Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age and astemious persons may participate in the experience as "chaperones" free of charge or by paying on site for the wine board (€15. 00 per person) .
The winery is accessible by wheelchair or pushchair: contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to better organise your visit in the event of mobility difficulties.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
