This weekend we offer you a different walk : in the vineyard!
We are waiting for you in Santa Maria della Versa (PV), at the Azienda Agricola Valdamonte, to discover how the wines of the Oltrepò Pavese are born.
A complete sensory experience, in which you will walk through the family vineyards , visit the winery and participate in a technical tasting of 3 labels, accompanied by typical local products!
What we will do
The appointment is at 11 a. m. at the Azienda Agricola Valdamonte in Santa Maria della Versa (PV), in the setting of the picturesque Versa Valley.
We will be welcomed by a guide who will introduce us to the history of the Fiori family, owners of the estate since the early 1900s.
We will begin our tour with a walk through the vineyards adjacent to the farm, lasting about 45 minutes, which will take us as far as the border of Lombardy!
We will then continue with a visit to the historic wine cellar, where we will discover the secrets of the winemaking process, from the arrival of the grapes to the ageing process. We will discover the philosophy of the company, now led by oenologist Alberto, which focuses on organic production that respects the environment and traditions of the Oltrepò Pavese.
Afterwards, we will take a seat in the tasting room above the cellar for the most eagerly awaited moment. We will taste three representative wines from Oltrepò Pavese, including Classic Method or Martinotti sparkling wines, Riesling and a sparkling rosé from Pinot Noir.
Each glass will be served in combination with traditional cured meats, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres from the garden, cheeses and homemade bread from local flours, and finally a dessert.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds. The wine tasting is reserved for adults. There is a reduced price for minors; children up to 9 years of age attend free of charge.
The wine tasting room is located on the first floor and can only be reached by stairs, so it is not accessible to wheelchair users.

The experience takes place approximately in March, April, May and September.
