You may have done it sitting in a restaurant, in a bar, maybe even on the beach. .. . But, we bet, a toast on a Giant Bench is still missing!
In Rossignano Monferrato, the Vicara winery awaits you for a tour that starts from the rows of vines and goes straight to the heart of the cellar, ending with a tasting of four local wines .
And if you like to be pampered, you can even add a board of local cured meats and cheeses to make you feel like a true Monferrato DOC!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Vicara winery in Rosignano Monferrato (AL), in the beautiful setting of the Piedmont hills. We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on the first fundamental stage of the activity: a toast in the vineyard!
In the course of a short walk , we will in fact reach the famous Big Bench to admire the surrounding panorama while sipping Domino Spumante Brut Rosé, a bold expression of Grignolino in a bubbly version.
We will then return to the cellar to visit the Historical Archive, an exclusive space where old vintages , the fruit of a centuries-old winemaking tradition, are kept. The guide will explain the production techniques, showing us the dedication required to transform grapes into excellence.
The tour will culminate in the winery's tasting room , where we will have a guided tasting of the winery's four representative wines: the . G (Grignolino DOC) , the Volpuva (Barbera DOC) and the Cantico della Crosia (Barbera Superiore DOCG) , as well as the sparkling wine tasted earlier.
The wines will be served with artisan breadsticks, or, for those who want an even more complete experience, it is possible to select the variant that includes a rich platter of local specialities (cold meats and cheeses) .
The experience will last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience at a variable price according to consumption (payment on site) ; they will be served water or apple juice.
The facility is not accessible to persons with mobility problems, as there are stairs to access the historic rooms.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
