Hold on tight because there is no joking around here: in Roseto degli Abruzzi, at the Orlandi Contucci Ponno winery, an 8 wine tasting awaits you, including a visit and a board of local products to keep up the pace of this incredible roundup of glasses.
An immersive experience in which you will be able to compare the result of vinification of native Abruzzi and international grape varieties , discovering how the influence of the Gran Sasso and the Adriatic is reflected in each individual label!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Orlandi Contucci Ponno winery in Roseto degli Abruzzi (TE), in the splendid setting of the Teramo hills. We will be welcomed by a guide who will accompany us on a tour of discovery of this winery of excellence, located in a privileged climatic position between the sea and the mountains.
We will begin with a visit inside the winery, the beating heart of production. Here we will explore the areas dedicated to vinification and ageing, where the wine rests and evolves. The guide will reveal the secrets of processing grapes such as Montepulciano, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Cabernet, explaining how the particular alluvial soil influences the character of each grape variety.
The highlight will be the technical tasting of eight wines: a complete itinerary that includes the tasting of the company's entire production, including the fine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Colline Teramane, Colline Teramane Riserva, Trebbiano Superiore and Cerasuolo Superiore. To enhance each sip, the tasting will be accompanied by a rich platter of local products, carefully selected to create the perfect pairing with the different types of wine.
For those wishing to further enrich the activity, it is possible to add a walk in the vineyards adjacent to the facility for an additional €8 to be paid on site.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.

Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience with a price on request calculated according to actual consumption on site.
The facility is accessible to persons with mobility problems and wheelchairs, as well as pushchairs.
