If you are looking for a place where life seems 'sweeter', Dogliani is the place to be.
Located in the southernmost region of the Langhe, Dogliani DOCG, a light red wine with the unmistakable (and irresistible) fruity aroma conferred by Dolcetto grapes, is cultivated and produced here.
If you can't wait to have a sip, you can taste it during this wine tasting at Azienda Agricola Avignolo with a visit to the winery and a walk in the vineyard included!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected during the booking process at theAzienda Agricola Avignolo located in Borgata Valdibà, a hamlet in the municipality of Dogliani (CN), also known as the 'capital' of the south-western Langhe.
Upon arrival we will be welcomed by our guide who will immediately take us through the rows of Dolcetto and Barbera grapes, surrounded by hazelnut trees, another symbolic fruit of this region. Here we will learn about the processes involved in caring for the vineyard, getting to grips with manual techniques.
We will then visit the centuries-old wine cellar, characterised by thick stone walls capable of maintaining a constant temperature in all seasons. We will visit three different rooms, discovering how the winemaking process takes place.
Finally, before the tasting, we will be introduced to the winery's wines, including the Dogliani DOCG and Langhe DOC wines. The tasting will then take place either indoors or outdoors, depending on the season. We will taste 2 glasses of wine of our choice, accompanied by a platter of local zero-kilometre cold meats and cheeses.
In total, theexperience will last about2 hours .

The experience is recommended from the age of 18. Children up to the age of 3 participate free of charge.
The wine tasting is for adults only.
The facility and the vineyard walk are accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.

Attention! In the event of bad weather, the vineyard walk will be conducted via a shorter alternative route.
The activity takes place from March to November.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
