Have you ever wondered what a legend tastes like?
At Villa Meneghello in Lazise, it’s not just a figure of speech: here, every sip tells the millennia-old stories of Lake Garda, with evocatively named wines such as Sirenella, Profetessa and Hángelos that bring the region’s myths to life in your glass.
Come and discover this winery where passion has been passed down since 1536: a tour of the cellar awaits you, along with a tasting of three wines of your choice from our range of whites, rosés and reds, accompanied by the robust flavours of Venetian soppressa and Grana Padano.
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at Villa Meneghello in Lazise, in the province of Verona, set against the backdrop of the morainic hills of Lake Garda. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will take us on a journey through time, explaining how the Meneghello family’s tradition has merged with the Delaini family’s excellence in hospitality.
Weather permitting, we’ll begin with a 10-minute stroll through the vineyard – the best way to connect with the land before seeing its fruits. We’ll then head indoors for a tour of the cellar, where we’ll explore the winemaking processes that transform the grapes into ‘legendary nectar’. The tour will last around 20–30 minutes.
The highlight will be the tasting: we’ll take our seats in the estate’s picturesque olive grove or, in the event of bad weather, in the cosy indoor tasting room. Here, we’ll be able to choose and taste three glasses of wine from a selection of whites, rosés and reds. This will be accompanied by bread drizzled with the estate’s own olive oil.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. Children aged 0 to 3 can take part free of charge: please contact the venue using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know they will be attending.
The wine tasting is for adults only.
The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility, with the exception of the cellar area.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round. In the event of bad weather, the walk through the vineyard will be cancelled and the entire experience will take place indoors.
Dogs are allowed in all areas except the wine cellar.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
