In 1860, Giuseppe Garibaldi led the Expedition of the Thousand. And this winery was founded in the same year.
Discover it during our winery tour and wine tasting in Crespina Lorenzana: you’ll be a guest at a family-run farm, tasting the estate’s finest wines accompanied by local produce.
A journey through time and taste, lasting 2 hours!
What we will do
Please arrive 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Crespina Lorenzana (PI). The experience takes place at Fattoria Uccelliera, a family-run farm in the Pisan hills.
On arrival, we will meet the sommelier guide and the other participants. We will then begin our tour of the historic 1860s winery: we will walk through the barrel cellar, discovering the history of the estate, the local area and the winemaking process.
We will then take our seats in the tasting room, furnished in Tuscan style, for a tasting of wines and local produce. We will taste four wines of our choice from the house selection, accompanied by a selection of cured meats, cheeses, pickles and bruschetta topped with the farm’s own extra virgin olive oil. The tasting will be enhanced by the sommelier guide’s commentary, who will help us appreciate every sip and bite.
The experience lasts approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. Children aged 0 to 6 inclusive can participate free of charge, but you must notify the venue of their attendance by contacting them using the details provided in your booking confirmation email.
The venue is not wheelchair accessible.

Please note! Once you have entered the property through the gate, the winery is approximately 1 km away and can be reached by car or on foot; this journey is not included in the time allocated for the experience. If you wish to walk to the winery independently, you must arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes early.
The experience runs all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of 2 participants has been reached.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
