Sicily is a region to sip.
Our winery visit and wine tasting in Ispica teaches us this: you will be the guest of a family-run winery, to taste the best house labels accompanied by local products.
An experience of over 1 hour, to be lived one sip at a time!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ispica (RG). The experience takes place at Riofavara, a family-run winery in the Val di Noto.
Having gathered all the participants and met the sommelier guide, the experience will begin with a visit to the vineyard during which we will learn about the territory and the work between the rows. This will be followed by a visit to the winery, during which we will learn more about the production process that transforms grapes into wine.
We will end with a tasting of wines and local products: we will taste six house wines accompanied by a crostone of bread topped with oil, anchovies and mint or ricotta, bottarga and other delicacies. The tasting will be enriched by the description of the sommelier guide, who will enhance each of our sips (and bites) .
The experience lasts a total of about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for people aged 18 and over. Any accompanying minors who consume food pay the reduced rate; if they do not consume food, they participate free of charge, but they must report their presence by contacting the venue at the contact details given in the booking confirmation email.
The experience is wheelchair accessible.

The experience runs all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
