Looking through a glass of wine! Take part in our wine and food experience in Valeggio sul Mincio: stroll through the vineyard, visit the cellar and taste the best house labels accompanied by local products.
An experience with an authentic and familiar flavour, in the morainic hills.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Fornello, in the municipality of Valeggio Sul Mincio (VR) . The experience takes place at Corte Fornello, a winery located in the morainic hills between Verona and Lake Garda.
On site, we will meet the guide who will accompany us on the discovery of this family business. Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a guided tour of the vineyard, the winery and the historic 18th-century barrique cellar; along the way we will learn more about the history of the area, the winery and wine production.
Finally, we will sit down for a wine tasting:
- Basic tasting: we will taste 3 wines (Custoza Superiore "Riflesso" DOC, Bardolino Superiore "Riflesso" DOCG, "Il David" Rosso IGT Verona) accompanied by a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses.
- Premium tasting: we will taste 5 selected and representative wines of the territory (Garganega IGT Veronese, Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC, Corvina IGT Veronese, Bardolino Superiore "Riflesso" DOCG, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG) accompanied by a tasting of home-produced extra virgin olive oil and a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses.
The tasting will be enriched by the guide's narration, to enhance each sip and bite.
The experience lasts a total of 2 or 3 hours depending on the tasting selected.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended from the age of 18. Minors are admitted without age limit as long as they are accompanied by an adult participant.
Wine tasting is reserved for adult participants only. Fruit juices are served to any under-age participants.
The experience is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to October. The visit to the vineyard takes place only in favourable weather conditions at the guide's discretion.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
