Take part in our guided tour and wine-tasting experience in Monforte d'Alba: in the company of a guide, you will learn more about wine production and taste the best labels of the house and the territory.
An experience of over 1 hour, on the "Pionere del Barolo" ship!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Bussia, a hamlet in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba (CN) . The experience takes place at Costa di Bussia Tenuta Arnulfo, a historic winery immersed in the wine-growing landscape of the Langhe.
At the reception we will find our guide, who will accompany us into his (delicious) world! Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a walk through the historic vineyards, with a panoramic view of the village of La Morra. We will continue with a visit to the Luigi Arnulfo Museum, founder of the winery and considered the 'Pioneer of Barolo'. And we will end with a tour of the cellar, walking between steel tanks and wooden barrels to discover the winemaking process. This part lasts about 30 minutes.
At the end of the exploration, we will take a seat in the tasting room: we will taste 4 wines of excellence (Barbera d'Alba DOC "Vigna Campo del Gatto", Barolo DOCG Bussia "Classico", Barolo DOCG Bussia "Campo dei Buoi", Barolo DOCG Bussia "Riserva") accompanied by samples of local products. We will also be given a notebook in which to note down the guide's descriptions that will enable us to appreciate and enhance each sip.
The experience lasts a total of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended from 18 years of age. Any minors accompanied by an adult participate free of charge: please contact the hotel at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Minors do not participate in the wine and local products tasting.

The experience takes place from March to December.
The vineyard walk may not take place depending on weather conditions at the guide's discretion.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
