Winery visit with typical Piedmontese snack in Mombaruzzo

Piedmontese, which couldn't be more Piedmontese!

We are talking about the 'merenda sinoira', a regional gastronomic tradition that you will taste directly among the rows of the vineyard of the Azienda Agricola Vini Piana in Mombaruzzo.

An experience that blends history, conviviality and genuine flavours in a unique setting!

What we will do

The appointment is at the selected time at theVini Piana winery in Mombaruzzo, where our guide will take us on a journey of discovery through wine. For about 20 minutes, we will explore the cellar and get to know the winemaking stages up close.

At the end of the visit, we will receive our basket with the 'Merenda Sinoira', a Piedmontese peasant tradition, created to refresh those who worked in the fields before returning home for dinner.

We will move to the equipped areas among the vineyards or to the inner courtyard of the wine cellar, where we will enjoy a rich assortment of typical dishes: cured meats, cheeses with jams, tomini in green sauce, Russian salad, raw meat, peppers with bagna cauda, cardoon flan with fondue, bread with butter and anchovies and other regional delicacies.

We will toast with a bottle of wine for every two people, letting ourselves be enveloped by the authentic aromas and flavours of Piedmont. To conclude this food and wine experience, we will finally taste the iconic amaretti biscuits of Mombaruzzo and fresh fruit.

Before or after the snack, it will be possible to take a walk along the melliferous cultures trail, discovering the botanical wealth that contributes to the unique character of local wines.

The approximate duration of the activity is 2 hours , but we will be free to enjoy every moment unhurriedly.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is recommended for 18 years and over.

The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. The cost of the experience for children is to be agreed with the organiser; please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their attendance.

The winery is accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.

The activity is available from March to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
