There is only one thing we like best about Sicily: Sicilian street food!
Enjoy it by participating in our wine tasting at Caruso & Minini, in the heart of Marsala. After visiting the baglio and the wine cellar, you will sit in the tasting room to toast with 3 glasses of wine paired with Sicilian delicacies.
Anexperience of over 1 hour, conducted with competence and passion by a sommelier guide!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Caruso & Minini winery in Marsala (TP). We will be welcomed by a sommelier guide who will accompany us on a discovery of this Sicilian winery!
The experience will begin with a visit to the baglio, a historic Sicilian building whose past use and contemporary adaptation we will discover. We will continue inside with a visit to the wine cellar, exploring the production rooms: we will follow the path of the grapes from the ageing process to the bottling process and on to the barrique cellar , which will be admired from behind glass to preserve its internal temperature. This moment will last 30 minutes.
We will then be seated in a designated room, indoors or outdoors, for our tasting: the sommelier guide will serve and explain 3 glasses of wine paired with 3 Sicilian street foods produced by a local delicatessen. If the"land street food" option is selected, we will toast with aromatic wines accompanied by a meatball, a paninetto and a vegetable-based arancina; if the"sea street food" option is selected, we will toast with citrus wines accompanied by a meatball, a paninetto and a fish-based arancina.
The experience will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
Wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Accompanying persons such as astemics and pregnant women are served Sicilian street food accompanied by water or soft drink. For children, a small board with Sicilian rotisserie products, chips and fruit juice is reserved at a cost of €10.00 per person: contact us to submit a booking request with children.
The facility is accessible by wheelchair or pram.

The experience takes place from March to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

Small dogs on a leash are allowed on the premises and must be held during the winery visit.
There is free parking in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
