You know that super cool sport you see everywhere on social media? It's wing-surfing!
In the province of Ragusa you can try it with a 1. 5-hour lesson, which is fun and perfect for beginners. You will learn how to balance on the board, manage the sail and change direction depending on the wind, all in the context of a quiet beach and calm sea.
Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Marina di Modica (RG) . Waiting for us will be the instructor who will hold the wing-surfing lesson.
After an initial welcoming moment, we will begin the experience with a 20-minute theoretical explanation, during which we will learn the necessary nomenclature, how to stand on the board, manage the sail, and change direction.
Having learned the basics, we will enter the water and start practising: the bottom will be shallow and the instructor will be by our side at all times to support us. Gradually, we will discover how to stand on the board and how to manoeuvre the sail independently.
After about 1 hour of practice, we will devote the last 5 minutes of the lesson to clarifying any doubts in order to consolidate what we have learnt.
The activity will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. Children under the age of 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to take part: you just need to be comfortable with the water.
The lesson is at an easy level and suitable for a first experience of wing-surfing.
Other information
The activity is available from the end of March to mid-November.
Outdoor showers, toilets for changing and a storage room for valuables are available at the meeting point.
There are free parking spaces on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
