Full description
Set out to discover the north-west coast of Sicily by hiring a motor boat in San Vito Lo Capo to discover caves and coves and dive into the sea.
You can choose whether to drive it, even if you don't have a licence, or entrust the helm to an expert captain. The boat will be at your complete disposal, so you can choose in which coves to stop and for how long to visit the Zingaro Nature Reserve and Scopello Bay on your own.
Plan your itinerary and then consider whether you will need the boat for half a day or a full day!
What we will do
The appointment is at the port of San Vito Lo Capo, where the boat I will entrust to you will be moored. I will help you embark with your group and explain some basic rules for safe navigation. You can then set off and head out of the port.
If you plan to visit the Zingaro Nature Reserve, you will encounter wild nature, fairytale scenery, and blue sea caressing beaches of different colours and compositions. You will be able to take a dip in front of the most beautiful coves, nestled between natural caves .
Moving beyond the reserve you will come across Scopello, a village overlooking a deep blue sea from which two stacks emerge. You can swim and snorkel in a picture postcard landscape.
The boat available for hire is aMY3 fibreglass boat , 5.75 metres long and equipped with stereo, double sun deck, sun awning, life jackets, ring life jacket, first aid kit, memory foam cushions, 6 kg anchor with chain, GPS system and icebox.
You will have to return the boat to the harbour after 4 or 8 hours, depending on the option chosen when booking.
Who it is aimed at
You are not required to have a licence todrive the boat, but you must be at least 18 years old. No minimum age is required to board as a passenger.
Children aged 1 year and older must be included in the count of persons on board.

You can hire the boat every day from April to October. If your group consists of 7 or more participants, please contact us in private, we will find a solution to suit your needs!
The 5.75-metre boat with a 40-hp engine available for hire is equipped with a stereo, double sundeck, sun canopy, life jackets, ring life jacket, first-aid kit, memory foam cushions, 6 kg anchor with chain, GPS sistance, ice box (no ice). Dogs are allowed on board.
The boat will be delivered to you with a full tank of fuel, so that when you return you can calculate the amount to be paid for the actual consumption.
When booking you can choose whether to hire the boat for half a day or a full day and whether to drive it yourself or have a skipper drive it.
No deposit is required. Theinsurance that you take out automatically by signing the contract covers damage against third parties. Without an identity document of an adult, the boat cannot be delivered.
You can request the following additional services from the contact details provided in your booking confirmation e-mail:
- ice ready inside the icebox (extra charge of 10€ to be paid locally);
- lunch box for each passenger with typical products (at an extra cost of 15€ per person to be paid on site) including cunzato bread, cassatelle, fruit, soft drinks and water) - you can also request changes to the contents of the box according to your needs;
- snorkelling kit rental (extra charge of 5€ per kit to be paid on site).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
