Full description
It is said that horses are freedom and poetry in motion...and we agree!
If the world of horse riding has always fascinated you but you've never had the chance to approach it, this 1-hour horse ride is perfect for you. You will set off from the province of Asti and ride for about 4 km through the nature of the Asti hills.
There will be enchanting views and a short stop for a few souvenir photos with your horse!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in San Damiano d'Asti (AT), where the equestrian guide will be waiting for us and will accompany us during the activity.
When we arrive, the horses will already be saddled and we will immediately have a briefing of about 10 minutes, during which we will learn how to give them a few simple commands and warm up with a ride around the stables. Once we have assumed the correct riding position and become familiar with our four-legged companion, we will start the ride.
We will move at pace for about 4 km along an easy route, suitable for beginners. During the experience, we will immerse ourselves in nature, crossing wooded stretches and admiring the magnificent panorama of the Asti hills. There will be magnificent vineyards, hazelnut groves and sunflower fields that will make the scenery very evocative.
Halfway along the route, we will make a brief stop at a small lake that stands in front of a beautiful meadow. From here, the view of the surrounding nature is truly unmissable! We will take a few souvenir photos and rest for a few minutes, then get back into the saddle.
The activity will end with a return to the starting point and will last approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 10. Children under the age of 18 may participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate. Please contact the activity organisers in advance to communicate your weight using the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
English or American riding can be used during the activity. The equestrian guide will lead on horseback. If requested in advance via the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail, the riding guide may consider leading on foot.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the riding stables. Dogs, if kept on a leash, are permitted.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and free parking spaces are available nearby.
