Have you never ridden a horse and always dreamt of doing so in an enchanting setting? Then you can't miss the 1-hour horse ride in Colico.
Immersed in the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve, you will be accompanied by an equestrian guide who will lead the way along dirt paths. You will ride along the Adda River until you reach the shore of the fascinating Lake Como.

What we will do
We will meet at the time selected when booking in Colico (LC), where we will meet the equestrian guide who will introduce us to his horses. We will start by getting on the saddle for an initial 5-10 minute ride in the field , in order to learn the basics and become familiar with the horse.
Once we have made friends with this docile animal, we will be ready to set off on our ride around Colico. We will start by skirting the Adda River until we reach its mouth, and then proceed along the shore of the beautiful Lake Como.
We will be immersed in the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve in contact with nature, and the equestrian guide will always be at our side to ensure maximum safety. Proceeding at pace along dirt roads, we will be able to admire the wonderful panorama that will open up before our eyes.
We will then return to the riding stables through lush meadows and forests on a loop tour through unique and varied scenery. The total duration of the experience is approximately 1 hour, including 50 minutes in the saddle.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. No previous experience on horseback is necessary to participate.
The maximum weight allowed is 120 kg.
Other information
The walk is available all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Attention! If you are taller than 1.80 m and/or weigh more than 80 kg, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate this.
The walk takes place at the pace and an American mount is used.
Any accompanying persons not taking part in the activity can stay at the riding school, where dogs are allowed if docile.
The riding school is not easily accessible by public transport. There is a dirt car park on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
