If riding a horse has always been your dream, you absolutely cannot miss the one-hour horse ride in Prato Nevoso.
The mountains offer unique scenery not only in winter, with snow-covered slopes and paths to walk on snowshoes, but also in summer, when the green meadows emerge in all their vigour showing perfect dirt tracks to be ridden on horseback.
With this excursion you will experience the mountains in a new and different way. What are you waiting for to book?
What we will do
The meeting point is the Baita del Verde in Prato Nevoso, at an altitude of 1600 metres. On arrival, we will be welcomed by an expert instructor who will introduce us to the splendid horses of the riding school.
After an introductory briefing, in which the basics of horse management will be explained to us, we will mount the saddle and set off together for the walk along the trails of Val Maudagna.
The route is on dirt track, with several ups and downs, and will lead us to admire the Panchina Gigante (Giant Bench), one of the first belonging to Chris Bangle 's project to promote local tourism.
We will then reach Bosco Lupo, a truly suggestive place. Accompanying us throughout the walk will be the tinkling of cowbells from the mountain pastures.
Thanks to this excursion, we will discover the value and beauty of equestrian tourism, coming into contact with horses, intelligent and intuitive animals. The walk lasts a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone over the age of 14. No previous horse riding experience is required.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your weight.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
