'I think a dream like that never comes back', sang Domenico Modugno. Something tells us he was referring to this very tour!
After all, observing Polignano 's white houses from the sea is an experience too good to be true. Sail for two hours on board a private boat with skipper and discover the coastline's caves .
And the Apulian aperitif will be the best part of this dream!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the hamlet of San Vito di Polignano a Mare (BA) .
Awaiting you will be the skipper who will welcome you on the boat reserved for your group. You will sail past the Grotta delle Rondinelle, a large cavity with a clear, sandy seabed. You will then discover the Grotta degli Innamorati and its legend, and many other wonders such as the Grotta Ardito, the Grotta di Pietro e Paolo and the Grotta delle Monache.
There will be postcard views such as the Lama Monachile, the Bastione di Santo Stefano, the Scoglio dell'Eremita and the famous monument to Domenico Modugno, to be admired directly from the sea.
During the summer, drop anchor in front of Grotta Palazzese for a swimming and snorkelling stop of about 40 minutes. This cave is famous for its restaurant carved into the rock. While in the water or relaxing on the sundeck, you will be served an aperitif of prosecco or Spritz, accompanied by taralli and focaccia pugliese.
After admiring the entire coastline, you will return to your starting point. The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs or persons with reduced mobility. It is necessary to be able to swim and not suffer from seasickness.

The activity takes place from April to October and is intended for private groups of up to 9 people.

The boat is a Marinello 26 Open boat 9 metres long and 2. 55 metres wide. It is equipped with sundeck, awning, shower and toilet.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but is served by tuk tuk and ape calessino from the centre of Polignano a Mare, about 3 km away. On-site parking spaces are available for a fee.
