Get your smartphone ready for photos, because you'll see some good ones!
What we will do
The appointment is at the riding school in Massa Lubrense (NA).
Here the equestrian guide will welcome you and take you to get to know your horse. Before setting off, you will have a short briefing inside the riding school to go over basic commands and make friends with your new 'adventure companion'.
Riding your horse, you will pass through the centre of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi and proceed in the direction of Sorrento. You will reach the highest part of the Sentiero delle Sirenuse up to the Pizzitiello promontory. From this privileged point you will enjoy an extraordinarily clear view of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, with the Gulf of Naples in front of you. To the left is the Amalfi Coast, while to the right you can make out theisland of Capri with its iconic Faraglioni. On clear days your gaze will also embrace Praiano, Li Galli and Procida.
After taking a few photos of the landscape, you will continue the walk to explore some of the small villages of the Sorrento Peninsula on horseback. You will pass through Acquara and Pastena, hamlets of Massa Lubrense that will make you fall in love with their picturesque alleys and ancient wash-houses.
The circular route will be about 8 km long and characterised by slight differences in height. Depending on the number of participants, there may be two guides, one who will precede the group and the other who will follow it.
The walk will end with a return to the riding stables after approximately 3 hours of activity.
