Looking for an adventure that will surprise you? At Monte Livata, the snow becomes your magic carpet!
With this 3-hour snowshoe hike in the province of Rome, you can take advantage of the weekend to get away from the routine and cross magnificent beech forests, immersed in a snowy landscape! You will reach an altitude of 1, 800 metres and get in tune with the surrounding nature while your guide tells you about the history of the area.

What we will do
The rendezvous is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Monte Livata (RM) , where we will meet the Environmental Hiking Guide who will accompany us on this adventure in the snow!
Before setting off, we will attend a short briefing, during which we will receive the necessary equipment (included) and learn the correct technique for walking with snowshoes in total safety and comfort. Then, once we are ready, we will take the car and drive to the start of the itinerary, chosen by the guide according to the best snow and weather conditions of the day.
We will enter a magnificent beech forest, alternating between covered and exposed stretches, which will allow us to admire the surrounding panorama. From time to time, the guide will stop to allow us to appreciate the most suggestive views of the area. In addition, as we proceed, he will tell us some anecdotes about the history of the place. We will snowshoe for about 6 km in total, reaching an altitude of 1, 800 metres to observe the enchanting valley below!
Finally, we will return to the starting point to return our equipment. The route involves a height difference of about 200 metres. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 9. Children under 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoeing trip.
Other information
The experience takes place from January to April and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants. If there is no snow, it will be moved to a nearby location with suitable conditions. The organisers will confirm the exact meeting point the day before the activity takes place.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
