Full description
The Tuscan sea as you've never seen it... from above! Fly over the Livorno coastline with an exclusive 60-minute flight aboard a Robinson R22.
Take off from the Castelfranco di Sotto runway in the company of an expert pilot and admire the coastal views and the Livorno hinterland, from Bolgheri to the Chianti area.
As they say in English, sky is the limit!
What we will do
The appointment is at the airfield in Castelfranco di Sotto (PI), 10 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking.
You will be welcomed by the pilot who will accompany you on this exclusive flight. Before take-off, you will attend a 5-10 minute briefing on the ground with the pilot, who will explain the characteristics of thehelicopter and safety rules.
Only then can you board the Robinson R22 and prepare for engine start-up. The pilot will take off from the runway, with the sound of the blades providing the soundtrack to this film-like scene... of which you will be the absolute star!
The helicopter will fly over the province of Pisa to head towards the Livorno coast and allow you to admire the coastline and the azure sea . Then the pilot will reverse course towards Bolgheri, a hamlet of Castagneto Carducci perched on a picturesque hill. From here you will return over the Chianti area, after a 60-minute scenic flight.
The experience will end with alanding on the departure runway, for a total duration of about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 10. Minors must be authorised by a parent and accompanied to the airfield.
A maximum weight of 120 kg and a maximum height of 2 m are required to participate.
Other information
The experience is available all year round, Monday to Saturday.
Flights take place only under favourable weather conditions. In the event of bad weather and/or adverse conditions of any kind, the flight may be postponed or modified at the pilot's sole discretion.
You will be on board a Robinson R22 helicopter, equipped with one seat for the pilot and one for the passenger.
You are allowed to take photos and videos during the flight, using a mobile phone only.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the airfield and watch the take-off and landing.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded.
