Are you looking for an adrenalin rush? Try acrobatic paragliding at Terminillo, a few kilometres from Rieti, and enjoy thethrill of free flight in defiance of gravity.
With a take-off at an altitude of 1600 metres and a duration of 30 minutes, longer than classic flights, you can gain altitude and engage in incredible aerobatics! You'll even be able to try flying the paraglider yourself, if you dare!
You will be in tandem with a professional pilot, for maximum comfort and safety. Get ready to fly!
What we will do
We will meet with the pilot near Rieti (the exact address will be sent to you after booking). After due introductions, we will travel by shuttle to the take-off point, about 10 minutes away.
The take-off will be from Mount Terminillo, on the south-western slope of the Central Apennines, at an altitude of 1600 metres. Once on site, we will have a comprehensive briefing on how the paraglider works and the various phases of the flight. We will then don thenecessary equipment (helmet and harness) and prepare to take off.
All it takes is a short recourse with the pilot and, in no time, we will be airborne! It will be anincredible thrill to soar through the air like birds, blown by the wind. During the 30-minute flight , we will enjoy the spectacular view of Mount Velino and the grassy hills of Sabina.
The duration, longer than the classic flight, will allow us to exploit the thermodynamic currents to gain altitude and enjoy incredible aerial acrobatics. If we wish, we can even ask the pilot to try manoeuvring the paraglider himself!
Finally, with a soft landing on grassland, we will find ourselves near the meeting point. Between briefings and transfers, the experience lasts approximately one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone, with no age limit. The important thing is the weight, which must be between 40 kg and 100 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to November, weather permitting.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly dependent on the weather. The pilot will contact you a day or two before the activity to confirm the time and meeting point. Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out in another flying area or postponed to a new date.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
