When you think of four-wheel adventure, does your mind immediately fly to the adrenaline-fuelled world of quad biking?
Good, because we have a truly unmissable quad bike excursion for you.
Starting from Castel di Sangro, you'll enjoy riding for about an hour and a half on dirt tracks and asphalt roads until you reach the Montagna Spaccata lake, the natural gem of this wild region.
Climb into the saddle and let yourself be surprised!
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the time selected at the time of booking in Castel di Sangro (AQ). After getting to know our expert guides, we will follow a brief introduction to understand how these nippy four-wheeled vehicles work.
After a few test rides, we will set off on board our quads, venturing along dirt tracks. We will ride along the picturesque Sangro river and then reach Villa Scontrone, a hamlet of the municipality of Scontrone and famous for its panoramic position offering incredible views of the surrounding landscapes.
After enjoying the panorama, we continue downhill in the direction of the Montagna Spaccata lake. This lake is a small jewel set among the mountains, whose calm waters reflect the sky and the surrounding forests, creating a landscape of serenity and peace.
We will make a stop of about 15 minutes where we will have the opportunity to take photos and videos and, if we wish, to exchange with the driver, before getting back on the quad bike and taking the return route, passing by the Sangro river again.
The route is about 20 km in total, with a split of 50% asphalt and 50% gravel. We will say goodbye when we arrive back in the village, after this adventure lasting about an hour and a half.

The activity is aimed at everyone from 6 years of age. B licence required to drive the quad bike.
Other information
The activity is carried out all year round, including public holidays.
The quads made available range from 570 cc upwards and are new in 2020. One can switch to driving at certain points on the route, provided one has a B licence.
The venue is not easily accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
