Which alpaca are you? Take part in this activity to find out!
Aspen, the superstar who loves to pose for selfies. Chestnut, who despite his thick hair doesn' t give up his fringe. Brugo, the children's best friend always looking for a cuddle. These are just some of the protagonists of our experience in contact with nature and animals, in the province of Bologna.
And to end on a high note, enjoy a homemade snack!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Marzabotto (BO). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this soft adventure!
Once all the participants have gathered and after an initial presentation, the experience can begin. We will enter the alpacas' enclosure and get to know them: Aspen, Brugo, Castagna and the other specimens will be eager to interact with us. The guide will then give an introduction to theworld of alpacas, before introducing us to them and telling us about the unique characteristics of each one.
And finally, the moment we have all been waiting for: we will be able to interact with the alpacas by feeding them, petting them and taking photos together! These animals are curious, cuddly and, as in the case of Aspen, real stars ready to pose for a nice selfie.
We will then say goodbye to our alpaca friends, leave the enclosure and reach the area set up for our homemade snack (included): we will taste farm products such as jams, fruit juices, sweet creams, savoury creams, pickles, cheese and bread. All in the splendid natural setting of the province of Bologna, with a view of the Monte Sole Regional Park.
The activity with alpacas will last 40 minutes. The total experience will last 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 2 years participate free of charge in the arms of a paying parent.
The activity is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems.
People with disabilities participate by paying the reduced fee of €10 for adults and €5 for children under 9 years of age: contact the guide to indicate their presence.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round on Saturdays and Sundays.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The snack will be set up indoors or outdoors depending on weather conditions. If you have food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform them.
Any accompanying non-paying guests may wait outside the enclosure; it is not possible to participate in the snack only. Any dogs on a leash are not allowed in the enclosure with the animals but are allowed at snack time.
