Ever thought of relaxing while listening to thousands of bees at work? No fear: they will remain comfortably in their hives while you enjoy their beneficial buzzing!
At Sambuco, in the heart of the Upper Stura Valley, a 1 hour and 30 minute experience awaits you together with an experienced beekeeper. You will discover the world of bees, enter an evocative apiary of well-being and conclude the activity with a honey tasting.
An original way to slow down the pace and treat yourself to a break in nature!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time, at the meeting point in Sambuco (CN) .
We will be welcomed by the beekeeper, who will accompany us on a tour of discovery of his family-run organic farm, set up in the heart of the Upper Stura Valley. We will begin with a brief introduction to the world of bees and beekeeping activities.
We will take a close look at a special educational display case containing a populated beehive, which will give us an insight into the organisation of the hive and the role of bees in the production of honey, pollen and royal jelly. During the visit, we will hear interesting facts and stories related to the life of these extraordinary insects.
Next, we will enter the wellness apiary, a small wooden house nestled in the tranquillity of the mountains. Here we will spend around one hour dedicated to relaxation.
We will be able to sit in rocking chairs, read, meditate or simply allow ourselves to be accompanied by apisound, the characteristic buzzing of bees which promotes relaxation and concentration. Inside the apiary, we will also breathe in the scents of the beehive, while a screen will show images of the beekeepers' work throughout the year.
At the end of the experience, we will return to the point of sale for a guided tasting of honey (included) , such as rhododendron, fir honeydew and wild cherry honey, discovering their characteristics and differences.
The activity will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate, it is necessary not to be allergic to propolis.
The experience is accessible to persons with motor disabilities.

The experience takes place from mid-June to mid-September and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
After the experience, it will be possible to buy the farm's products.
Small dogs are allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
