Very interesting and gripping – I’d highly recommend it!
A really lovely and unique experience.nThe guide who welcomed us was very friendly; we went into a shed for a very thorough explanation of how a beehive is constructed and organised, we learnt a lot about bees and had plenty of time to ask our questions, then we ‘dressed’ in special overalls provided by the guide before opening an inhabited hive to look for the queen (who, in our case, had unfortunately hidden herself away well).nWe then moved to the workshop where we saw how honey is produced, and were each given a jar.nA highly recommended experience.

Our time with...
Our time with Luca was one of the highlights of our trip. His commitment to sustainable agriculture and his passion for his work were clearly evident. He happily shared his knowledge and took us on a journey through his life as a beekeeper. I really cannot put into words just how fulfilling this experience was. Our family had already spent many days travelling through Europe and arrived by ferry in Ancona on the morning of our beekeeping experience. Our trip had already been packed with fun, exciting and unique experiences. After our time with Luca, it was clear that it would be a lasting memory and a highlight of a trip filled with amazing experiences. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts.

Wonderful
A wonderful, fascinating and enjoyable experience. We got to learn all about the world of bees first-hand and take part in a fabulous tasting session. Maura and her husband are excellent hosts and really treated us to a wonderful experience!

A wonderful experience in...
A wonderful experience in Monte Livata, surrounded by nature. The tour took us into the world of bees and beekeepers, and our guide, Damiano, was brilliant at introducing us to this world and getting us hooked on it. I highly recommend it, and I’d also suggest popping into their own shop, the honey shop, where you can buy their handmade products!
