Experience a full-immersion day with the survival course in Lecco and learn basic survival techniques!
Together with an FISSS Expert Instructor, you will acquire the necessary skills to face an emergency situation in the right way. You will learn how to adapt to the environment, make use of the resources at your disposal, and do so safely and with fun!
Respect, trust, responsibility and the ability to organise yourself and in a team: these are the foundations on which the survival course will be structured, between theory and practice. Get ready to put yourself to the test!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before 9:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Lecco. Here we will meet theFISSS (Italian Survival Federation)Expert Instructor who will follow us throughout the day, enabling us to learn basic survival techniques.
The course programme will include learning the basic techniques necessary for acclimatisation and survival in the wild and moving around the environment. Everyone will be given the opportunity to experience first-hand the techniques demonstrated by the instructor.
The natural setting in which we will be set is Lecco, within fascinating and wild coniferous forests on a marvellous plateau overlooking Lake Como, just 50 km from Milan and easily reached from all over Lombardy.
The course will be structured in several modules, including theory and practice:
- Initial briefing
- Psychological aspect of survival in nature: fears and phobias, stress management and increasing self-esteem, rules, definitions
- Knowledge of the equipment and correct use of the survival kit
- Mainnodes and their applications
- Orientation: hints on orientation with natural and modern systems
- Techniques, types, methods and rules for building a shelter
- Fire lighting techniques with ancient and modern methods
- Fire and signalling: where and when
The activity will last a total of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The courses are intended for persons aged 15 and over. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or an adult with parental authorisation.
No previous experience is necessary; what is needed is a good dose of willpower and a great desire to get involved, as well as good health.
A medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity is required for participation in the activity.

Courses take place on the dates indicated in the calendar (continually updated) and are confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants.
Activities take place in all weather conditions.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
