You know those evenings you never forget? This is one of those.
You'll walk along the paths of the Sabine mountains at sunset; you'll enjoy a typical dinner in a refuge - starter, first course, second course and dessert - and finally you'll sit under the stars, where an expert will guide you through the constellations and secrets of the universe.

What we will do
The appointment is at 5 p. m. at the refuge of Monte San Giovanni in Sabina, in the province of Rieti.
From here, with our environmental guide, we will set off on a ring-route trek of about 6 km, among dirt roads and paths, shady woods, hidden waterfalls, and breathtaking views of the peaks of the Sabine mountains. The height difference is around 300 m and the level is easy: we will take our time to enjoy the views, listen to stories about the history of the area, geology and nature.
We will return around sunset time to the refuge, where we will have some time to change or relax (and perhaps have an aperitif, if we feel like it - not included) , then we will sit down for a typical dinner: an appetiser of local cold meats and cheeses, a traditional hot first course (such as pasta with Cinta Senese meat sauce) , second course with side dish, dessert, water, wine and coffee.
After dinner, we will take a short walk behind the refuge and get comfortable for the most magical part of the evening: 2 hours of astronomical observation guided by an expert. We will discover constellations, planets and celestial objects, orienting ourselves with the naked eye and telescope. And if we are lucky, we will also see some shooting stars.
The experience will last about 7 hours in total.

The experience is suitable for everyone from 7 years old and up. The route is easy and also suitable for first-time trekkers.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to November on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants.
Dinner is included in the fee. In the event of food allergies and intolerances, please contact the guide in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request an alternative.
Dogs are allowed to participate in the experience.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but there is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
