This was a truly fascinating and enjoyable experience – it was brilliant to learn about the long history of salt production in this part of the world, with friendly and knowledgeable staff showing us round, plus a lovely bar and restaurant where we could cool down with a drink and a snack, and plenty of souvenirs to take home with us.

A very interesting and very stimulating excursion, thanks above all to the preparation of Nicola, a young but very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate guide, who gave the experience the purest and deepest sense of discovery. Whether he was talking about volcanoes, rocks, plants, insects, birds, ecosystems and the evolution or behaviour of species, or civilisations, cultures, construction techniques and innovations spanning millennia, he was able to enlighten the group, providing compelling and surprising explanations. On the way home, I felt the urge and the need to go deeper to learn and understand more. Highly recommended.👍

A really interesting, adventurous and fun trip. The guide was patient and excellent. Unfortunately, there was no lighting inside the cave due to a lightning strike (which is why I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5); otherwise, everything was perfect!
