Live a unique experience by taking your first scuba dive in the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area in Villasimius.
In the company of professional guides, you will discover a true natural paradise of granite rocks and underwater meadows of incredible colours.
You will be able to observe a great variety of marine species: from plants such as Posidonia oceanica to larger fish such as the Grouper(Epinephelus marginatus), passing by the small and magical Castagnole(Chromis chromis) and the fearsome but harmless Barracuda(Sphyraena viridensis).

What we will do
The meeting point is the diving centre in Villasimius (CA). Here we will be welcomed by the guides, who will provide us withfull diving equipment (included). Once the small group (up to 10 participants) has been formed, we will board the dinghy in the direction of theCapo Carbonara Marine Protected Area.
The area was established in 1999 to protect flora and fauna of incredible variety. We will have the opportunity to admire gorgonians, peaceful barracudas, octopuses, shrimps and lobsters, moray e els and much more.
By rubber dinghy, we will reach the chosen dive site (S.Caterina or Cava Usai, depending on weather and sea conditions). Here we will dive with the instructor into the crystal-clear waters with mask, regulator (underwater snorkel) and jacket (a vest that allows us to float underwater).
We will experience thethrill of breathing underwater like a real diver, thanks to an air rebreather (ARA) that will allow us to stay underwater for about an hour. We will reach a maximum depth of 5 metres, admiring the beautiful seabed and the creatures that inhabit it.
The activity lasts a total of 3 hours and ends with the return to the diving centre.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. No previous experience or certification is required, but you must be in good physical condition and have no respiratory diseases.

Attention! Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
The tour is available from April to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The dive site may vary depending on the marine weather conditions.
