Full description

"Life under the sea is better than anything they have up there!"

Sebastian said this to the Little Mermaid, and we’re saying it to you: with an introductory dive in Nora, you’ll explore the underwater world in complete peace of mind alongside an experienced instructor.

During a 30-minute dive, you’ll discover the marine life of the Mediterranean, gliding effortlessly amongst the fish and the Sardinian seabed – no diving certificate required!

What we will do

We’ll meet at the time indicated at the meeting point in Perd’e Sali (CA).The instructor will be there to welcome us and guide us through our first scuba dive.

We’ll get kitted out in the changing rooms, trying on our wetsuits and equipment, before attending a theoretical briefing on safety rules and the hand signals to use underwater.

We’ll then board a boat which, after a 10-minute sail, will take us to the Nora shallows, the ideal spot for our first dive.

We’ll dive for about 30 minutes to a maximum depth of 5 metres, observing sea bream, blue whiting and the diverse marine life of the seabed up close. Throughout the experience, the instructor will be by our side along with the other participants (maximum 4 people at a time) .

We’ll then return on board to the marina where we set off from. The experience will last a total of approximately 2 hours .

Who it is aimed at

This activity is suitable for children aged 8 and over; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or provide a signed consent form. In the case of underage participants, only one accompanying adult is permitted on board the boat free of charge.

You do not need to know how to swim to take part in the activity, but you must be comfortable in the water. The activity is aimed at those wishing to try scuba diving for the first time, and no diving certificate is required.

This experience is not permitted for pregnant women. If you have respiratory conditions, heart problems, epilepsy or diabetes, you must provide a medical certificate.

Other information

The activity takes place from March to November.

Please note! The organiser will contact you a few days before the activity to find out your weight, height and shoe size so that they can prepare the equipment in good time.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport, so we recommend travelling by car.

There are changing rooms on site, equipped with showers and toilets. Any personal belongings can be left on board the boat.
