Get ready for a real wilderness adventure and set off on a two-day survival course in the Ticino Park to learn basic bushcraft and survival techniques.
Forget technology and the comforts of everyday life and get used to getting by with what the environment has to offer, as our ancestors did. This way, you will know how to deal with emergency situations.
Experienced instructors will teach you how to build a shelter, find food and water, start a fire, use ropes, orient yourself in the forest, rescue companions and much more.
What we will do
The appointment is at 09:00 at the meeting point in Pavia; the experience will start at 09:15. The course will be held in the Ticino Park and will begin with a presentation and general briefing on the activity. During the two days we will simulate real emergency situations, as if we were really lost in the woods, and spend the night in a shelter built with our own hands.
Equipped with a great spirit of adventure and adaptation, we will learn basic bushcraft and survival techniques, tackling the following topics
- Orientation with compass, maps and natural elements.
- Construction of an emergency shelter
- Camp knots and basic safety knots
- Lighting fires using rudimentary methods
- Searching for edible food and filtering and drinking water
- Use of knives
- Abseiling
- Sending emergency signals
- First aid techniques
- Preparation of backpack and survival kit
The course will end in the afternoon of the second day and will leave us with a baggage full of new skills. We will become real adventurers ready to face any situation!
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone and also open to children from 10 years of age (accompanied by parents). No specific experience or skills are required, just a desire to have fun in nature and a spirit of adaptation.

All technical materials used for the course activities will be provided by the organisation. After booking, you will be sent a list with the necessary equipment to be procured.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
