Full description
If you are looking for a new adventure that allows you to explore the sea without straying too far from the coast, the SUP course in Ostia Lido is for you!
The course consists of 3 lessons of 2 hours each, during which you will learn how to balance on the board and how to paddle correctly. At the end of the course, you will be able to venture independently into the most beautiful and hidden corners of the Roman coastline!
It will be an exciting experience, in which you will meet many new companions and discover a new and fun sport. What are you waiting for?
What we will do
We will meet in Ostia Lido, at the time and establishment communicated during the booking process. After the usual introductions, I will give you all thenecessary equipment (included).
The first lesson will be divided into a 30-minute theoretical part, where I will explain some theoretical aspects about the sea, waves, winds and currents, plus a practical part which will be carried out inside the establishment.
The second and third lessons will take place entirely in the water. Without going too far out to sea, we will learn to stand up on the board and keep our balance first on our knees and then on our feet.
Each lesson lasts 2 hours, making a total of 6 hours of course time.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or have signed authorisation. Swimming skills are required.
Other information
Lessons take place all year round, subject to weather and sea conditions.
Attention! Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the course.
The lido is equipped with showers, a lawn and all kinds of amenities. There are no lockers, but personal items are kept in the office upon request.
Thanks to the annual membership card, participants will also have free access to the lido from May to September.
After the first lesson, participants will be entered into a chat where they will be notified of the next lesson dates (5-6 days in advance).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
