Full description
If you love the sea and have long dreamed of challenging the waves with surfing, this is the course for you.
In 3 lessons of 2 hours each at Ostia Lido, you will learn all the theoretical notions of surfing to put yourself to the test and ride the waves balanced on your board. You will be in the company of a high-level team, which will follow you step by step to prepare you at your best.

What we will do
We will meet in Ostia Lido, at the time indicated in the booking. After the usual introductions, I will give you all thenecessary equipment (included).
During the first lesson, we will immediately go through a 30-minute theoretical part where I will explain the main theoretical notions of this exciting sport. We will talk about what a board is, how to handle it and what the equipment specifications are. We will also learn about the sea, currents, winds and wave direction.
The second part of the lesson and the next two will be dedicated to the practical part. With my support, we will try to stand up in the waves and stay balanced, putting into practice the notions learned. It will be an incredible thrill to ride your first wave!
Each lesson lasts 2 hours, for a total of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or have signed authorisation. Swimming skills are required.
Other information
Lessons take place all year round, subject to weather and sea conditions.
Attention! Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the course.
The lido is equipped with showers, a lawn and all kinds of amenities. There are no lockers, but personal items are kept in the office upon request.
Thanks to the annual membership card, participants will also have free access to the lido from May to September.
After the first lesson, participants will be entered into a chat where they will be notified of the next lesson dates (5-6 days in advance).
