They are friendly, communicate with dance and produce the sweetest nectar there is: bees are waiting for you in this experience in the province of Varese!
Become a beekeeper for a day and learn all the tricks of the trade. After discovering a few curiosities, you will have a delicious tasting of honey and cheese, followed by a fantastic snack.
Participate now. .. before the bees change their minds!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Casalzuigno (VA), where the beekeeper will be waiting to guide us through this experience!
After an initial welcome, we will make ourselves comfortable and listen to a 40-minute introduction to the world of bees and beekeeping, which will provide us with all the information we need to access the second phase of the activity.
Once we have donned the suits and gloves (included) that will prevent any stings, we will walk to the apiary and watch a demonstration of the procedures that are done daily to check that the bees are well. As the beekeeper works, he will explain to us the basic steps and tools for his job!
At that point, we will remove our suits and move on to the sweetest part of the whole experience: the tasting of wildflower honey and cheese (included) . We will taste cow and goat products that will enhance the flavour of the honey and give us unforgettable moments.
But that's not all! In fact, at the end of the tasting we will conclude the activity with a super snack (included) , which will include baked goods, cakes and jams lovingly prepared by the hostess.
The experience will last a total of 2 hours and will make us go home with a stomach full of delicacies and a smile on our faces!
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The centre is not accessible by wheelchair, pushchair or similar due to the lay of the land.

The activity is available from April to September and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
