What do you want to be when you grow up? Abeekeeper!
If this is still your answer (or if it has become your children's answer), you just have to take part in our experience of discovering the world of bees: in the company of a professional beekeeper, you will approach beekeeping as a beginner and explore an apiary in the natural setting of Chiusi.
A1-hour experience, of which you will keep a jar of honey as a souvenir!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Chiusi (SI). We will be welcomed by a beekeeper, who will accompany us on this experience of discovering the world of bees!
Once all the participants have gathered, the beekeeper will proceed to give us an overview of beginner beekeeping: this means that he will provide us with all the useful information about the clothing and equipment we will be wearing and using, using terms that everyone can understand. We will also be shown an emptybeehive, to better admire all its parts.
We will complete the transformation by donning the beekeeper's suit and walk to theapiary, a few steps away. Here the beekeeper will open one of the many coloured boxes, pull up the frame and let us into the world of bees: we will meet the queen bee, recognise female and male bees, learn how honey is produced. And yes, at the end of the experience the beekeeper will give us a jar of honey (125 g) of our choice from those he produces!
The total experience will last 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children from 4 years of age; children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the facility, but the latter need not participate in the activity.
The route is not wheelchair accessible.

Attention! Once you have made your booking and received the confirmation e-mail, please contact the beekeeper at the contact details given in the e-mail to communicate your clothing size (XS-XXXXL) for the preparation of the beekeeping suit.
The experience is available from May to September.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
