What do we have in common with bees? We both love sweets.
And not only that. Take part in our beekeeping experience in the province of Rome: in the company of a professional beekeeper, you will admire the flow of life in the hive and learn some beekeeping techniques with the aim of raising awareness of the role of bees in the ecosystem.
A 2-hour experience, with a sweet finale: honey and vegetable cheese tasting!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia (RM) . We will find the beekeeper waiting for us, who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will begin our journey into the world of bees. The experience will begin with a theoretical and ethological look at bees, with the aim of raising awareness of their role in the ecosystem. It will also be an opportunity to ask the beekeeper questions and satisfy our every curiosity!
Afterwards, we will don the beekeeper's suit and approach the hives: we will admire the flow of life in the hive and learn some beekeeping techniques.
Finally, there will be a tasting of honey and vegetable cheeses: each ingredient, homemade and/or local, is produced in an ethical manner. The experience will take place in the setting of an animal shelter, as rustic as it is cosy, where animal welfare comes first!
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.

The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The experience is not suitable for persons with disabilities.
