Come to Taormina and hire a motorboat – no licence required: you’ll set sail to explore the coast and the famous Isola Bella in complete freedom!
Whether for half a day or a full day, enjoy an adventure on the waves with your crew of up to 6 people.
What we will do
The meeting point is in Taormina (ME) from 10. 00 am. Here, the shore staff will hand over the boat to you and explain everything you need to know about operating it and the rules for safe sailing.
You’ll be in charge of choosing the route for this skipperless adventure: you can head for the crystal-clear waters and lush vegetation of the famous Isola Bella, drop anchor in the picturesque Bay of Naxos, or admire the majestic Blue Grotto from the sea.
The boat is 5. 75 cm long and fitted with a 40 CV engine that can be operated without a boat licence. On board, you’ll find comfortable cushions, an awning to shelter you from the sun during the hottest part of the day, a ladder to help you climb back on board after a swim, and a handy freshwater shower.
Finally, you will return the boat after a 4-hour or 8-hour hire, depending on the option you selected when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The minimum age for hire is 18, whilst there are no age restrictions for passengers.
A boat licence is not required to operate this vessel.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
This activity is available from May to September. When booking, you can choose whether to hire the boat for a “half-day (4 hours) ” or a “full day (8 hours)”.
Important: fuel is not included in the price and must be paid for on return based on actual consumption (in cash or by card) . No deposit is required.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport; there are both free and paid parking facilities on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
