21 Aug 2023 | Boat tour of the Bay of Naxos and Taormina with an aperitif

Outstanding

We went on this excursion as a couple with eight other people on a large, well-maintained boat. The skipper/guide and his son were very knowledgeable and friendly. We drove to the beach of Mazzaró via the beautiful island. Afterwards, we stopped for a dip in front of Taormina where the water was splendid, more beautiful than on the isola bella. In addition to the visit, Mr Filippo's son offered us two proseccos and mandarle pasta. I highly recommend this excursion and would recommend doing it with Mr Filippo and his son who, being also local, also told us the history of these phenomenal places.

Beautiful experience and super friendly skipper

We left the port of Giardini Naxos at 10 o'clock on the dot and headed towards the bay of Naxos and then on to the beautiful island of Taormina, which we circumnavigated. finally, to admire the seabed and spend some time relaxing, we stopped at the Blue Grotto where we concluded with an aperitif. The skipper, Enzo, was super helpful and easy-going. To our every curiosity he was able to answer without any problems. very easy-going even with foreign tourists. wonderful experience!

Exceptional trip

This boat trip was over our expectations, and a very good experience to try with your family or friends. The boys were good at english and explained the seights very well. They had great snacks and Prosecco for the adults :) nThey stopped at a very nice place to go swimming and had good equipment for swimming. nOver all we are very happy and if you are considering going on this trip, we think you should defiantly do that.

Lovely evening boat trip

We had a great close-up view of the rocks, caves and coastline and Antonio gave us interesting information about each place. Swimming in Giardini Naxos bay was lovely and refreshing and we then had Prosecco and fruit. We went out far into the sea but, sadly, didn’t see dolphins. We did see the sunset behind the hills of Taormina and it was a relaxing end to the cruise. Thank you to Antonio and his assistant :)

Goede schipper en mooie plekken

Leuke snorkeltour waarbij we op 3 plekken konden snorkelen en onderweg vertelde de schipper het een en ander over de omgeving en over de luxe hotels van Taormina aan het strand. Je snorkelt bij isola bella en een stukje verderop. Het water is zeer helder en je ziet veel (kleine) vissen. Verwacht geen tropische verrassing. Leuk om te doen!

Absolutely perfect!

What a day! This was such a highlight for our family of five including our 3 kids 14. 12 & 9. We all absolutely loved swimming in the pristine waters, snorkelling was amazing - we saw beautiful fish and seeing the coastline was superb. nnWould highly recommend! nn Our skipper was lovely, friendly and informative.
