Gentleman officer or dashing pirate? Find out what kind of captain you are by taking the helm of a charter boat in Rapallo!
Venture out in the company of a crew of a maximum of 7 people to discover the most beautiful views of the Gulf of Tigullio, sailing without a licence between Sestri Levante and Camogli.
An opportunity to experience awhole or half day in the Liguriansea.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rapallo (GE). Awaiting you will be the charterer for the delivery of the boat reserved for you.
Theboat is a Barqua Q20 motorboat 6.35 m long and 2.4 m wide with a Suzuki 40 ARI engine equipped with an awning, shower, climbing ladder, cushions, Bluetooth stereo, and navigation lights. On board you will also find a cooler to keep food and drinks cool that you choose to take with you to toast in company!
Upon handover, the charterer will explain how to drive the boat and you can take a few test drives in the harbour. In addition, you will be sent a nautical map in PDF format directly to your phone, so you can easily reach the main points of interest in the area.
At this point you will be ready to set sail with your crew for the Gulf of Tigullio: without a licence, you will be able to navigate in the marine area between Sestri Levante and Camogli, taking the opportunity to swim near Portofino (where we also suggest you dock to enjoy a stop ashore), Cala degli Inglesi or San Fruttuoso to admire the Christ of the Abyss.
At the end of the charter you will return to the meeting point. The experience will last 4 hours (half day) or 9 hours (full day) depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The charterer and driver must be at least 18 years old; this boat may be chartered without a licence. There is no age limit for passengers .
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request boarding support.
Other information
The activity is available from May to October.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Clean boat shoes are allowed on board or you can go barefoot. Small dogs are allowed on board: please contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request to bring your four-legged friend on board.
An additional skipper service is available at a cost of €100.00 for a half-day and €150.00 for a full day: contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request this service.
