Rent a 25 hp motor boat and sail on Lake Orta in the company of friends or family.
Starting from Omegna, in the province of Verbania, you will sail along an itinerary of your choice. You can head for theIsland of San Giulio or the village in front of it, the enchanting Orta San Giulio, admire one of the lakeside villages such as Pettenasco and Pella, or dive into the clear, clean waters.
Whatever you decide to do, Lake Orta will captivate you with its landscape, characteristic villages and atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. So, are you ready to set sail?
What we will do
The meeting point is on the lakeside promenade in Omegna (VB), where our skipper will hand over the motorboat to you and explain everything you need to know about operating it and the rules for safe boating.
Once you’re ready to set sail, you’ll begin your tour of Lake Orta. You can sail towards the village of Orta San Giulio, the pearl of the lake, and the picturesque Island of San Giulio, which is nicknamed ‘the island of silence’ due to the tranquillity that reigns there. You can also stop wherever you like for a dip and a swim in the lake’s crystal-clear waters.
The boat does not require a boat licence; it is comfortable and easy to handle. It is fitted with a fibreglass hull, a sun awning, cushions, a sun deck, a ladder for easy access to the water and all necessary safety equipment.
When booking, you can choose between a 3-hour or 7-hour hire.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
A licence is not required to drive the boat, you only need to be of legal age.

The boat is available for hire from April to October and can accommodate up to 5 people.
You can choose between the 3-hour or 7-hour option. Please select your preference in the booking box.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport; there are both free and paid parking spaces on site.
Important: fuel is not included in the price and must be paid for on return, based on consumption.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
