Why settle for a lake view when you can experience it?
With boat hire on Lake Orta, you leave the shore behind and set sail in a comfortable, stable boat for 7 people that can be driven without a licence. You can explore its shores, stop wherever you like, enjoy the silence or put on the music.
It's the lake your way and today you are at the helm!
What we will do
You will be able to collect the boat in Pella (NO) from 10:00 am. After check-in, the staff will conduct a briefing on safety regulations and the operation of the boat; they will also show you the map with points of interest and the best routes to follow.
The boat is 5.40 metres long, equipped with a 40 HP Honda engine, canopy, cushions, minibar, coffee table, Bluetooth stereo, and USB sockets. No boat licence is needed and you can take up to 6 friends with you(maximum 7 people on board).
You can set off to discover Lake Orta: you can visit Orta San Giulio, the pearl of the lake, and the picturesque Island of San Giulio, relax in a quiet bay or disembark in the villages and have lunch in one of the small restaurants on the lake.
The boat will be returned by 15:00 for a half-day or by 18:00 for a full day.
Who it is aimed at
The minimum age required to drive the boat is 18. A boat licence is not required.
The boat is wheelchair accessible.
Other information
Rental is available all year round. When booking, you can choose between half-day (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) or full-day (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) rental.
Please note! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid on return (by card or cash), according to consumption.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; a reserved car park is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
