Who said you need a crown to become the king of the two seas?
In Taranto, you can take the helm of a 5. 7-metre open boat with a 40 CV engine without a boat licence and turn your group of up to 6 people into a real crew!
Choose between a half-day, a full day or an evening’s hire , and sail in complete freedom towards the enchanting San Pietro or the stunning coastline of San Vito. The Ionian Sea awaits you!
What we will do
Please be at the meeting point in Taranto (TA) at the time indicated.
Here, the skipper will hand over the boat to you , explaining everything you need to know about operating it and the rules for safe sailing.
You’ll board a comfortable Arkos 507 open, a 5. 7-metre-long boat with a 40 CV engine that can be operated without a boat licence. The boat is well-equipped with a stainless-steel awning, a fridge, Bluetooth speakers, a swimming ladder, a fresh-water shower and a depth sounder.
Once you’re ready to set sail, you can choose your ideal route. It takes just a few minutes’ sailing to explore San Pietro Island or to drop anchor in the stunning San Vito area for a refreshing swim.
You’re welcome to bring your own food and drink on board to enjoy a perfect lunch or aperitif out at sea.
At the end of your hire, you’ll return the boat to the departure point. When booking, you can choose between a half-day (5 hours), full day (8. 5 hours) or evening (3 hours) hire.
Who it is aimed at
You do not need a boat licence to drive the boat, but you must be over 18.
Passengers of any age may join the trip.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
Other information
The boat is available for hire from June to October and can accommodate up to 6 people.
You can choose between a half-day option (8. 30 am–1. 30 pm or 1. 30 pm–6 . 30 pm), a full day (10. 00 am–6. 30 pm) or an evening option (7. 30 pm–10. 30 pm) . Please select your preference in the booking box.
Important: fuel is not included in the price and must be paid for on return, based on consumption. The cost will be deducted directly from the €150 security deposit, to be paid in cash on site.
Dogs are allowed on board.
For an even more complete experience, the organiser can, on request, offer a drinks package for €25 per group and an aperitif with traditional Taranto dishes for €75 per group. To book these services, please contact the organiser using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
