Let's play a game: we take you around caves in Polignano a Mare and you tell us your favourite!
Between Grotta Palazzese, Grotta degli Innamorati and Grotta delle Rondinelle, choosing will be a challenge. But that's the beauty of a boat trip among the wonders of Polignano: every glimpse is a discovery!
Enjoy 2 hours of sailing with a local skipper , with a stop for diving and snorkelling and an aperitif on board!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the hamlet of San Vito di Polignano a Mare (BA) .
We will be welcomed by the skipper, ready to guide us on this mini-adventure along the Apulian coast. On board a boat, we will explore one by one the natural jewels of the area, such as the Grotta Palazzese, famous for its restaurant carved into the rock.
We will sail past the Grotta delle Rondinelle, a large cavity with a clear, sandy seabed. We will then discover the Grotta degli Innamorati and its legend, and many other wonders such as the Grotta Ardito, the Grotta di Pietro e Paolo and the Grotta delle Monache.
There will be postcard views such as the Lama Monachile, the Bastione di Santo Stefano, the Scoglio dell'Eremita and the famous monument to Domenico Modugno, to be admired directly from the sea.
In summer, we will stop for about 20 minutes in front of Grotta Palazzese for a regenerating swim with snorkelling equipment provided on board, followed by an aperitif with prosecco, Spritz, taralli and focaccia. In the winter months, however, a stop at Cala Paura will also be included, with an explanation dedicated to this corner of the coast.
The activity will last a total of two hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs or persons with reduced mobility. It is necessary to be able to swim and not suffer from seasickness.

The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
The itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat is a Marinello 26 Open boat 9 metres long and 2. 55 metres wide. It is equipped with sundeck, awning, shower and toilet.

Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but is served by tuk tuk and ape calessino from the centre of Polignano a Mare, about 3 km away. On-site parking spaces are available for a fee.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
