Full description
If you think Bari is beautiful from land, wait until you see it from the sea: a relaxing 1½-hour boat tour!
Sail north to admire the historic centre, the cathedral and the city walls, then south to the city beach. And enjoy an aperitif out at sea with wine and taralli!
What we will do
We’ll meet 5 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Bari. The skipper will be there to welcome us aboard a traditional gozzo and will accompany us throughout the tour.
We’ll set sail northwards along the coast, sailing parallel to the seafront to reach Bari’s historic centre. From here, we’ll be able to admire the Cathedral and the walls of the old town, whilst the skipper tells us interesting facts and historical insights about the places we pass.
We’ll then head south, skirting the city until we reach Bari’s city beach. During the excursion, there’ll be a stop of about 20 minutes for a refreshing swim and to enjoy an aperitif on board, with wine and Apulian taralli or snacks. The exact location of the stop may vary at the skipper’s discretion, either at the city beach or near the Teatro Margherita.
At the end of the cruise, we’ll return to the starting point, concluding the tour after approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible. If you have mild mobility difficulties, you may take part provided you give advance notice so that assistance can be arranged when boarding.

The trip runs from April to October and is confirmed once a minimum of two participants have signed up.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the captain’s discretion.
The boat used is a traditional 10-metre gozzo , equipped with an awning, a toilet and a shower. You must go barefoot on board the boat.

Dogs are allowed on board.
There is a pay-and-display car park nearby. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
