Discover the natural beauty of Polignano a Mare, the 'City by the Sea', with a fantastic boat trip.
Only from the perspective of the sea can you admire the entire conformation of the Polignano coastline, with its hidden recesses and enchanting caves rising from the crystal-clear water.
Let yourself be captivated by the light effects of Grotta Azzurra, dive into the famous Grotta Palazzese, and enjoy a final toast with prosecco. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet the skipper at San Vito, a hamlet of Polignano a Mare. Once everyone is seated on board, we will set off to discover the sea caves.
We will sail along the rocky coastline of Polignano a Mare, admiring its unique conformation from the perspective of the sea. We will explore hidden caves and ravines rising from the water and, thanks to the size of the boat, we will even be able to enter and admire them from the inside.
We will admire Grotta Ardito, with its imposing 'column of Hercules', Grotta degli innamorati (Lovers' Cave) , so called because of its peculiar heart shape, Grotta Azzurra (Blue Cave ) , and Grotta Palazzese, Polignano's largest and most famous. In the latter we will stop to dive into the crystal-clear waters and enjoy a pleasant swim.
We will also see the fascinating and lonely Scoglio dell'Eremita and one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, Cala Paura. Finally, the skipper will offer us an aperitif with Apulian taralli and flute of prosecco to toast this magnificent experience.
The excursion lasts 2 hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
