Full description
Cinque Terre? Yes. But without having to tackle stairs, steep climbs and wobbly legs.
With a 3-hour boat tour from Monterosso, you can cruise the crystal-clear waters of the Ligurian Sea and admire Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore from a whole new perspective. Then a dip, an aperitif amongst the waves and a spectacular 360° view at sunset.
The only risk? Taking too many photos and running out of storage on your phone.
What we will do
We’ll meet in Monterosso (La Spezia) 10 minutes before the scheduled time and board our Princess boat to set off on a journey of discovery through the Cinque Terre.
Once the engine is running, we’ll glide across the protected waters of the Marine Sanctuary, letting ourselves be guided amongst sheer cliffs, colourful villages and hidden corners accessible only by water.
During the tour, we’ll pass by the five jewels of the Riviera: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. We’ll stop at the most picturesque spots to take some photos and admire these iconic villages from a completely different perspective.
When sea conditions allow, we’ll drop anchor in a tranquil bay such as Guvano Bay, where we can take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, relax in the water or explore the seabed with a mask and snorkel available on board.
We’ll then enjoy a special moment dedicated to the flavours of Liguria: an aperitif in true Italian style with focaccia, pesto, Vermentino, soft drinks and water, to be savoured whilst lulled by the waves. All accompanied by stories from our crew, who’ll introduce us to interesting facts, tales and local traditions.
On the return journey, we’ll head slightly away from the coast to admire the full silhouette of the Cinque Terre bathed in the light of the setting sun. With the sea breeze, music in the background and a glass in hand, we’ll round off the tour by returning to Monterosso after a 3-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 3 and over : children must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or people with severe mobility impairments.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed once a minimum of 3 participants has been reached.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the skipper’s discretion.
The boat is the Princess, a typical 8. 5-metre Ligurian gozzo fitted with cushions, an awning, a fresh-water shower and a boarding ladder at the stern. There is no toilet on board. You must go barefoot on board and dogs are not permitted.
For the aperitif, alternatives are available for those with food allergies or intolerances: please contact the organisers in advance using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.
Please do not bring coloured beach towels, as these may stain the boat’s cushions when wet with salt water: towels can be hired on board for €5 per person.
The meeting point can be reached by car (there are pay-and-display car parks) , but we recommend travelling by train.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
